About Har Chatravriti Portal

The Government of Haryana has created a scholarship portal called Har Chhatravritti Portal. This Har Chhatravritti Portal will be a one-stop for the students as this portal will contain 13 scholarship schemes from 6 major departments of the government. Under this portal, students will be eligible to get financial amounts through which candidates will be able to pursue higher education. The Har Chhatravritti Portal will offer 3 3-tier verification of the application.

The verification of candidates’ application forms will be done in 3 levels i.e. Institute, University/Nodal Body, and Head Office thus ensuring the complete authentication of the applicant. Each applicant must have a Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) to take advantage of the state government’s scholarship schemes. Applicants must be a permanent resident of Haryana.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
Candidates must enroll in post-matric courses in Haryana-recognised institutes or colleges.
Applicants should pass their matric or secondary level examination from a Haryana-recognised school.
The annual family income of the candidate should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
Applicants must belong to the BC, EWS, and DNT communities.

Required Documents

A passport-size photograph of the student
One attested copy of the academic transcripts, including certificates, diplomas, degrees, etc.
A receipt in acknowledgment of the scholarship in the previous year.
A valid caste certificate duly signed by an authorized Revenue Officer (RO), not below the rank of Tehsildar
An income certificate parent(s)/guardian(s) issued by the authority as decided by the state government
