UP NMMS Scholarship 2023-24: Apply Online, Eligibility and Last Date

The Examination Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh has announced the UP NMMS Scholarship 2023-24 for the students of state who are in public and provisional school. The students need to fill the application form for appearing under the UP NMMS Examination which will be conducted on 8th of November 2023. The selected candidates from class 9th to 12th standard will get Rs. 12,000 per annum for the expenses of their education. Students need to fill the application form for UP NMMS Scholarship 2023-24 from 23rd August 2023 to 18th September 2023.

Students must score a minimum 55% marks in 7th standard for General Category and 5% marks concession for Reserved category students to be eligible for UP NMMS Scholarship 2023. The UP NMMS Scholarship Exam will be conducted in 2 modes. The first paper will contain questions from the Mental Ability Test and the second paper will be from the Scholastic Aptitude Test.

Objective of UP NMMS Scholarship 2023-24

The main aim of UP NMMS Scholarship 2023 is to make all the financially weak students educated the same as the students who are financially privileged. With the rising amount of school fees many students are not able to pay it, as they are about to take a drop from school. Through this UP NMMS Scholarship 2023 students will easily pay their school fees. The selected students will receive Rs. 1000 every month from 8th class to 12th class. Many students who are very motivated towards their studies but the high rising amount of school fees cannot be affordable by economically disadvantaged students.

The NMMS Scholarship 2022 has been introduced by the Ministry of Human Resource Development’s Department of School Education and Literacy. Eligibility Criteria for UP NMMS Scholarship

• Students must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• Students who pass class 7th and now in 8th standard will be eligible for scholarship.
• Students must score a minimum 55% marks in 7th standard for General category and 50% for Reserved category students to be eligible for UP NMMS Scholarship 2023.
• Students from government or government-aided schools expect students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, non-government school, residential school are eligible.
• The annual income should not be more than Rs. 3.5 lakh per annum.

Reward Details

The students from UP who are in class 9th to 12th standard will get financial assistance of Rs. 12,000 per annum for their educational expenses. It means students will get RS. 1,000 per month for the duration of 3 years.
